Yeah, I'm not totally sure where this desire for perfection comes
from.  I think what we're looking for is reasonable success, a
measurable improvement from year to year.  Not sure we're seeing that,
but I think that's what we're arguing about.   But I thought I'd throw
in a couple of quotes that seem appropriate.  I especially like the
one from Hizzoner, da Mayor.

Look at our Lord's disciples. One denied Him; one doubted Him; one
betrayed Him. If our Lord couldn't have perfection, how are you going
to have it in city government?
