AAARRRGGG! SC gets 9 points on big plays/NU mistakes (blocked PAT
return and Hail Mary) while NU has 2 turnovers when driving for a
score. Halftime score should be more like 21-7 NU.
Yes, the hit on Abdullah was big and I don't fault Abdullah too much,
but one strategy when running is to avoid letting the defender get a big
hit directly on the ball.
With Hail Mary, NU players should have been ready to tackle the SC
receiver immediately (and the receiver got away with a slight push off -
not an unusual non-call, however).
Go Big Red!

Nebraska needs to exploit this tendency. Rex Burkhead is stud. Hopefully, he stays healthy. This hit on Ameer Abdullah was just a big time hit. He covered the ball well and looked like he was expecting a hit to the mid section. The defender put a hat on the ball and it popped out. Fortunately, South Carolina missed their field goal.
