[Husker] Raymond to LSU

Frankly, I'd probably rather you didn't believe me because I've posted stuff
here before only to have people lash out (which is fine) :)

There were certainly newspaper articles out there saying the same (or at
least speculating) and his level of interest varied for each job. One of
which I don't blame him for shooting for one bit, the other two were more
alarming.

How about my posting Carl was going to be gone at the end of the year with a
few weeks left in the season, pending finding him a new home? Sure, I
suppose it was just a coincidence he found a head coaching gig somewhere
else, maybe I just guessed right? :)

Oh that's not fair.

While I wouldn't ask you to betray a "confidential informant" you can't just
throw statements like that out there and expect people to take them as
gospel without proof. Most people on here don't know each other's resumes.
>From the information in your signature (or lack thereof) there's nothing to
tell us you're "in deep" with the movers & shakers of the athletic
department. Now, I suppose I could go through the archives and look up all
your old posts and try to rationalize your qualifications for making a
statement like that, but frankly I just don't have the time.

Now you may be perfectly correct and have tons of inside knowledge that I am
(or any of us are ) not aware of. But I think it's pushing it to expect
folks to take SIGNIFICANT statements like "...Bo's put his name in for 3
jobs..." on pure faith alone.

If you want me (and I would extend that to "most on this list") to take the
comment seriously you need to throw us SOME measure of background, sources,
whatever so as to give it some small measure of viability. And if you don't
care if anyone believes it, why bother saying it in the first place?
