Oh that's not fair.
While I wouldn't ask you to betray a "confidential informant" you can't
just throw statements like that out there and expect people to take them as
gospel without proof. Most people on here don't know each other's
resumes. From the information in your signature (or lack thereof) there's
nothing to tell us you're "in deep" with the movers & shakers of the
athletic department. Now, I suppose I could go through the archives and
look up all your old posts and try to rationalize your qualifications for
making a statement like that, but frankly I just don't have the time.
Now you may be perfectly correct and have tons of inside knowledge that I
am (or any of us are ) not aware of. But I think it's pushing it to expect
folks to take SIGNIFICANT statements like "...Bo's put his name in for 3
jobs..." on pure faith alone.
If you want me (and I would extend that to "most on this list") to take the
comment seriously you need to throw us SOME measure of background, sources,
whatever so as to give it some small measure of viability. And if you
don't care if anyone believes it, why bother saying it in the first place?
