A thoughtful argument from the Cedar Rapids Gazette in favor of dividing 
the league on geographic lines when Maryland and Rutgers come on board. 
This guy would put Iowa, Minnesota, Wisconsin, Nebraska, Illinois, 
Northwestern and Michigan State in the west. He also thinks Ohio State 
(gulp) would make a dandy designated rival for Nebraska. I like his 
proposal. NU and Wisconsin need to play every year; I think it would 
become a great rivalry. (Of course, if Virginia and North Carolina (or 
whoever) crash the party, it all changes again.)
