I started to respond that injuries have been an important factor in 
line performance, and this isn't the coach's fault.  Then I recalled 
that my oldest son was a varsity distance runner in the Big Ten, and 
never improved over his high school times as much as we had thought 
he might.  He struggled with injuries throughout his career, and I'm 
convinced that over-training was an important factor.  So maybe 
coaching can have an influence even on injuries.
