[Husker] Fwd: Regular Season

Charles Davis, the Fox color analyst, just said the same thing in an interview on 1620 AM.  He thought that Saturday night was much more about Wisconsin playing really, really well than Nebraska playing really, really horribly.

Maybe he was knowing his audience...or talking them off the ledge.  (Or talking them into putting down their tar, feathers, pitchforks, and semi-automatic weaponry :)  But I suspect not.

Well said.  When I get home tonight I'm going to look into the frequency of
BCS conf teams rushing for 500+ yards.  My hunch is that is extraordinarily
rare...maybe once per year?  And my point for doing that is to show that
whatever was part of the perfect storm hit NU Saturday, the result was far
worse than NU defensive talent accounts for.

Whatever the reason, and I suspect luck and the psychological effects of it
on both teams, played a much greater role in the game that we want to
admit.
