I'm not even sure what "complete game" means. If I were to be flippant,
which I sometimes am, I'd say they played 60 minutes in every game.
I assume you mean some type of perfection throughout the game. What if
I asked that about the best golfers in the world? How many golfers have
ever played a game such a complete game? When I watch pro football,
which I don't often do, I see plenty of missed tackles, dropped balls,
turnovers, etc. Even better, more practiced players and more accomplished
teams don't play complete games without any shortcomings.

I say Nebraska had a good year. You say they played like an expletive
week after week. How do we measure such things? Clearly, we have
different yardsticks, but I question your standards when a 10 win
regular season, division championship, national ranking, and New Year's
Day Bowl is so expletive deleted. And, if we look a little deeper, we
might see other things like GPAs and graduation, personal responsibility,
etc.

This quote is attributed to Henri Matisse: "There are always flowers
for those who want to see them." I suppose the same thing is true
of expletives.
