What I was trying to say was that if you have a guy like westerkamp that catches everything close to him. From what I have read, why would you redshirt him when the other receivers drop to many balls.

I seem to be clearly in the minority, but I am far from sold on our WRs. Last year was a very average bunch. Bell showing the most promise and athletic talent, after him..who was so good? And none of them, including Bell, showed they could regularly make a catch on a ball that was not quite on target. TM needs receivers to help him out sometimes and I didn't see any of them able to do that. As has been noted, there were plenty of drops on balls that T put where they should be. Folks keep talking up Turner but he couldnt get on the field last year against so-so competition. Marlowe, Enunwa? Yeah ok I guess. Unless some of them have made really big strides, and I hope they have because we are going to need them to, I have to go along that if we have a really good freshman, there is space for him on the field this year.

Didn't Bo say that he would put the best 11 guys on the field. If what I heard is true that westerkamp hadn't dropped a ball all of fall camp why would you redshirt this guy with the way some of the receivers drop balls.
