I am looking forward to it. No idea what to expect from So Miss. New coach
(former So Carolina DC), new OC (former HS coach), new QB (likely a FR,
maybe the QB who played for the OC in HS). On D they run a 4-2-5 (basically
the Peso defense Bo used well in the B12).
I expect the D to stack the run and hope to contain a mobile QB (Bo's teams
have never done that too well). The O should feature a lot of power, Rex,
Marrow, Cross, love to see a DB consistently tackling our backs.
Be interesting to see what the depth chart looks like, some FR will play.
Moss (DE), Valentine (DT), Cross (RB), Armstrong (QB), Janick (FB walkon)
may avoid redshirts. Reportedly Westerkamp has not dropped a pass all
summer. That will help TM's completion percentage.
People are talking Fiesta Bowl. Hope so. Love to attend.

Subject: [Husker] It's Game Week!
With the opening game of the season looming ahead it has been VERY quiet on
Husker List. I think Mike Nolan is right in that the List is no longer the
main source of new Husker information it used to be and more are finding
their own source of Husker News. With that said, here are a couple of
thoughts about the game against Southern Miss.
The Huskers are very healthy and 3 deep at RB. Hopefully this will give
allow Taylor to only throw on a sure catch.
I watched the Big 10 and ESPN college preview for the Big 10. No one is
expecting the Huskers to win their division, let alone the Big 10
Championship. Nebraska plays 4 teams from the Big 10 that are in the top 20
and one in the top 10. I for one am not sure what to expect this year.
Last year I thought Nebraska would win the Big 10. Going in with eyes wide
open this year.
