a player now that the coach is gone?

Or because it's available now, and wasn't in January!

While most coaching vacancies occur between the end of the regular season and 
signing day,
they can occur in any month, for a variety of reasons.  

I would not be surprised to see Arkansas go the interim coach route for this 
season,
mostly because there aren't a lot of big names readily on the market this time 
of year.  

I think less than half of the interim coaches get the job full-time, though.  

What's Bob Davie's cable guy got to say these days?
