Or because it's available now, and wasn't in January!

While most coaching vacancies occur between the end of the regular season and signing day,
they can occur in any month, for a variety of reasons.  

I would not be surprised to see Arkansas go the interim coach route for this season,
mostly because there aren't a lot of big names readily on the market this time of year.  
I think less than half of the interim coaches get the job full-time, though.  

What's Bob Davie's cable guy got to say these days?
