I had that very same thought.  Dr. Tom would probably fall over in a
dead faint if someone would suggest to him that we hire Petrino at
this point, but he's a known quantity.  You can't argue with what he's
accomplished at Arkansas.  I think they were getting ready to
seriously challenge LSU and 'Bama in the next couple of years, but
now.....  I wonder what Huston Nutt is doing these days?

As far as Pelini goes, Pelini has that 'mad' face, and he yells, wears
sweatshirts, and doesn't like to talk to media types. My daughter
smiled and waved at him one morning on campus, but he was busy jogging
so he just smiled and waved, and didn't stop to yell at her.  Petrino
on the other hand, dresses a bit better on the sidelines.  He yells a
lot, but then the cameras don't seem to follow his every move (on the
field at least).  I've seen him smile.  His teams' definitely like to
throw the ball around.  The woman he crashed with was a former all-SEC
volleyball player, and we really like volleyball here.  I dunno, can't
seem to think of a single reason why we wouldn't want Petrino.  What
would he cost?
