[Husker] The Mood in Lincoln

I can top this...
I worked at the Varsity Theatre in 1971 my freshman year at UNL. In late November we were showing "Something Big", a western with Brian Keith. As we approached the "Game of the Century" the manager got the idea to put "Huskers You Are..." just above the movie title.
Across the street at the Stuart was a Shirley MacLaine film, "Desperate Characters". They placed "Sooners Are..." just above their film's title.
13th and P never looked cooler.

My personal favorite was the marquee on the old Stuart Theater before the
1977 Alabama game. They were showing a movie called 'Star Wars' and the marquee said: "Huskers: May the force be with you."
