[Husker] The Mood in Lincoln

I think there will be 20,000 Husker fans inside the stadium, and another 20,000 or more outside the stadium.  I have no way of explaining those numbers; I base it purely on ancedotal evidence of the number of people who are headed to Madison without tickets.  And from past history at USC and Notre Dame, I know that Husker fans are very resourceful at getting into other teams stadiums.

Washington fans didn't think 25,000 Husker fans would get into Husky Stadium last September...but they did. 


The only thing that would shock me is only 5000 Husker fans in the stadium.

I received a tweet from Huskers that there could be as many as 30,000 Husker fans in Madison this weekend.  If the Blackout thing works and Husker fans are able to get tickets like they did in South Bend in 2000, their presence could be a great thing to see.  The team is in the air now on their way to Madison.
