I agree on Kugler. Didn't he actually call an NFL game last year?
NU looked great the first two games. Short/quick kills were working. Third game was close, would have liked to see them close it out. NU looked horrible in the 4th. Penn State started looking better in the third, coming from behind. But the 4th was a combination of PSU playing out of their minds, and NU going into a bad funk. I was worried about the 5th, but NU got back to doing the short/quick kills and overall played much more like they did in the first two games. A fun match to watch. PSU is a young, but talented team. It was good to get the first Big 10 win no matter how it happened, against the 4-in-a-row defending national champs.
