I don't agree with this assessment that the D's play in the 4th quarter against Washington was an "anomaly" and that the Blackshirts performed "much, much better" than against Fresno State. 
 
At times the D played better, at times they were awful. In my mind, there is no excuse for allowing as many points as we did in the 4th quarter, not having the great 3rd quarter. Now, if we were playing all the 3rd and 4th string, that's another story, but if it was 1st and 2nd string, no way to they get to "visibly let down" and get away with it. Not if they ever want to be true "Blackshirts" in my book! I hope Pelini feels the same!
