The List is quiet so here is a query:

Last year the Huskers played the Washington Huskies twice; once in Seattle (W 59-21) and once in the Holiday Bowl (L 7-19).  Now they meet again this Saturday.  It will be less than 365 days since the first matchup in Seattle.

In 1978 Nebraska beat the Sooners on 11/11/78 and then played them again on New Year's Day.  Nebraska and Oklahoma played next on 11/24/79.

2 questions:


1.    Why didn't Nebraska and Oklahoma play on Thanksgiving weekend in 1978?

2.    Have the Huskers ever played a team 3 times within a one year period?
