.........and I am glad they had that many tackles because if not, then the runs would have been 13-15 yards a pop versus 3-5.  I encourage you to look at the tape and compare Fresno v. NU linebacker technique.  I am simply stating that it is better to fill the hole and meet the running back as opposed to waiting at your position and then making the tackle.  Either way, you still get 16 tackles.
