We won, which is good.  But holy cow that was bad.  Our D played terrible.
Young DBs looked young.  We made the QB rollout look indefensible.  

 

Tmart actually played terrible for 95% of the game but you won't see it on
the stat sheet.  It's covered up by a couple good runs, but most of his
passing yards came on long throws that were just 'pop flies' thrown up in
the air we were lucky to come down with.   (On a side note, I know he is a
game breaker with his legs, but I just tremble at the thought of playing a
good defense).

 

Once again, the o-line was dreadful at best.  Kick coverage left a LOT to be
desired.

 

I think we have some really good young talent, but this does not make you
feel good for this season.

 

On an upside, Abdullah is NASTY on returns and we have one heck of a punter.
Lavonte is still one of the best LBs in the country.  Finally we NEED to get
Jamaal Turner the ball at least 5 or 6 times a game.
