I'm going to try that. When 1620 dropped ESPN and went to Fox Sports this
year, I had no idea what I was going to be listening to. The two goons that
follow Unsportsmanlike Conduct (Petros and Money) are almost unlistenable
(if that's a word - my on-line editor says its not). From the website
bio's:

"Petros Papadakis and Matt "Money" Smith are the future of sports talk
radio. While the trunk of their tree is sports, the branches and roots are
everything that is men. The eclectic sound of 30-something duo is re-writing
the rules of sports talk radio, as they deliver a whole new level of
entertainment to Men 18-49."

If that's the future, the future is looking pretty dismal. I mean, I get
the whole "entertainment to Men" thing. When I hear them, I get the mental
image of two dumpy, ex-jock 30-somethings, sitting in their garages in their
underwear, digging and scratching, and babbling about nothing in
particular. And I have to ask myself, is this what it takes to make it on
radio these days?

So, thanks, Quinn. I'm going to try to pick up on Yahoo and see what's
happening there.
