[Husker] Coaching the Option

Same here. I think a lot of people expected to see the 1996 Fiesta Bowl and
when the kids shot themselves in the foot a few times began second guessing.
The option is hard to defend because it isn't necessarily easy to run at
peak performance level.
Will it succeed over the West Coast style? Time will tell but I'm anxiously
awaiting the first big play action pass and/or 30 yard fullback belly
option. You always had a sense it was coming when the safeties were cheating
the line and committing big time to the i-backs.
