Not usually a Pinkel guy, but loved this quote:


Pinkel’s interview reflected the same tone he used at Big 12 media days in July, when he said he was miffed at problems that seemed specific to this conference. In the interview, which was broadcast Friday, Pinkel seemed envious of leagues that only have to concern themselves with football.

“Without question, there are some issues that other leagues don’t have,” Pinkel said. “You don’t hear anything about any other league in the country having these problems. And we all know where it starts.”
