Subject: [Husker] Today's Game

Well, it is on. Nebraska can win this game if they stick to running game and let their conditioning dominate the line in the late third and fourth quarters. The hype about Taylor Martinez having to throw the ball is just that - HYPE. They same thing happened before the Wisconsin game, and we know how that turned out.

The Ohio State game showed that Nebraska can come from behind. Again, they need to stick to the running game. They will throw enough to keep the defense honest and let their conditioning take over. So, the coaches and team cannot panic if they get down. The ground game will win this game. An air attack will only cause too many 3 and outs and leave the defense on the field too long. Even if they just get some first downs, Nebraska needs to keep on pounding the ball.

Ohio State may been looking past Michigan State to Nebraska and got caught flat footed. Not having their players back did not help either. Michigan State played both Michigan and Wisconsin at home. Nebraska knows how to beat Michigan state.

The Pelini's are figuring out what they need to do to get the defense back on top.
