I know the Big12 breakup topic has been discussed to death.  But I can't
help it.  It felt like the Big12 was painting everything as being just fine
since they added..wait for it....TCU.  What?  Don't get me wrong, I am happy
for the TCU faithful who love their football as much as we do and the recent
success they have enjoyed.  (Also, TCU was the subject of the funniest book
ever written about college football..."Life It's Ownself" by Dan Jenkins.)
So the Big12 has lost Colorado, Nebraska, Texas A&M, and now Missouri
(probably) and replaced those four schools with Texas Christian.  If the Big
East - ConfUSA alliance becomes reality, the Big12 is running out of schools
desperate enough for money and playing in a BCS conference to join this
Austin-based mess.  I should be ashamed to be enjoying it so much.  Hope it
keeps up.
