Just to clarify.  NU didn't lose accreditation, which formally assesses
aspects of the educational enterprise.

You may be referring to NU being dropped from membership in the AAU
(no, not that AAU, but the one that most people don't know about),
which is more of a somewhat-exclusive, self-selected club.
