[Husker] Crick done for the season

Pat me on the back, I've been saying there was something more wrong with Crick for several weeks. 
 
He just wasn't the same after he sat out the Wyoming game. This must have started in the Washington game? 
 
I feel really bad for him, looks like he should have jumped to the pros after 2010 instead of staying for his senior year. Ah, well, hindsight is 20-20. Will he be on the sidelines to lead and "coach" up the other guys? Or is he just gone from Nebraska now?

I owe Mr. Crick a big apology.  I made the statement a couple of weeks ago
that suggested his success/reputation was due to playing with Suh and that
if he was drafted he should share his bonus with Suh.  Now we all know why
he didn't play like an All American. I don't know how he played at all with
a torn pec.  All the hand/arm fighting a DL does with the OL must have about
killed him.  I tore a pec muscle and a back muscle years ago when my arm
slipped while pushing a heavy Chris-Craft wooden ski boat up a slight
incline into my garage.  I couldn't lift my coffee cup (thank God I was
still able to lift a 12 oz. beer...).  I'm not an athlete so I didn't have
access to the physical therapists that Crick will.  It took me several years
to fully recover. I wish him the best.

I'm going to try to be less critical of our players from now on.  Football
is a brutal game and sometimes players don't perform up to their usual
standards because of injuries.  I hope I will remember this the next time I
have the urge to criticize.
