[Husker] Press Conference (LONG)

I believe that the media types would be very disappointed if Pelini were more like Dr. Tom.
While Dr. Tom always handled the press respectfully, he still never gave out much information.
I remember the years when Dr Tom was Head Coach. Everyone complained that he didn't divulge anything.
He was always politically correct and complimentary to the opponent. You could almost predict what he was going to say.
He just said it in a more pallitable way.

This comment comes up from time to time. I do not agree with it. Sure, it
would be nice if Pelini acted more like Tom Osborne. It would also be nice
if he acted more like any of the thousands and thousands of other coaches in
all sports at all levels, who are not named Tom Osborne, and who always
carry themselves with dignity and class. Dignity and class are two
adjectives that I would never apply to Bo Pelini and it is a shame. Good
coach though. He is cut from the same cloth as a Nolan Richardson type, but
NR had more style, Pelini has none. As I have posted before, when this
ends, and it will, it will not be pretty.
