Not everyone is a great extemporaneous speaker. Bo doesn't appear to be.
Shows like Rome or Mike and Mike set up interviews in advance and
probably send a list of topics that they are going to talk about. You
know what you are going to be asked and have prepared your response in
advance. It's an apples and oranges situation.
Personally, I've noticed what I consider improvements in Bo's post-game
interview this year. Last year nothing was good, everyone made mistakes,
we have a lot of improvement to make, pretty much a "half empty" affair.
This year he points out players who played well, things that the team
and coaches did to adjust. Basically where is a more "half full" tone.
That said, I still don't find the post game interview very interesting.
You can never hear the questions and like I said, Bo isn't the best at
off the cuff remarks.
