[Husker] changed to up tempo

Keep in mind that if the offense substitutes, the defense must be given the opportunity to sub as well.

The umpire will not allow the ball to be put in play until the defense has completed their subs.

A couple times during the Wisconsin game when it was 3rd and long, I noticed our offense took a long time between plays, and in the meantime Wisky was substituting defensive players. I couldn't help but wonder why we weren't up-tempo enough to keep Wisconsin from subbing in their desired players. I thought that was one of the reasons for being an up-tempo offense and we could have used any personnel advantage we could get at that point.

Ohio State was muscling us all over the place up to near the end of the second quarter when we finally started seeing a lot of their guys standing around between plays with hands-on-hips . . . a sure sign of looming fatigue. The halftime recuperation wore off for them five minutes or so into the third and that's when we started looking like Huskers again.
