[Husker] Coach vs. Media (was News Conference)

Steve...over the years I have written some of the worst posts on this
board.  I was insulting and combative and argumentative.  There were times I
was justified, many times not.  I was easy to get hooked and often did.
Remember a while back when lots of the long-time fans were telling stories
of all the things they used to do just to be able to hear a Husker game?
Like the guy who would drive an hour just to get to the top of the mountain
in Colorado so he could tune in a faint, scratchy, static full radio
broadcast of a game?  And was excited and happy just to be able to barely
hear it.  lots, lots more of stories just like this.  Made me embarrassed
for all the crap I wrote on a board shared by these same fine fans.  That's
right...fans.  No quotes.  Now maybe some of these same people criticize and
critique and second guess and feel bad when things aren't going well.  Like
me.  They have every right to do so.  And maybe they cheer and crow and are
proud and shower praise when things are going well.  Like me. They have
every right to do so.  And either way they are still great, great fans.  Me
too.
