[Husker] just an honest question

I think the Big Ten was only moderately interested in Missouri.  Missouri was much more interested in the Big Ten, however.  But I think that the Big Ten is done with expansion, unless something changes.  Expanding to 12 teams made sense: it opened up a conference title game, and creates synergy in the schedule.  Expanding beyond 12 has limited rewards.  It also means you play other conference teams less often (something Jim Delaney is against) and split the pot of gold more ways.

What could convince the Big Ten to expand?  Notre Dame saying they want in.  Or a NCAA/BCS driven proposal that makes a 14 or 16 team league more attractive than a 12 team league.

Why wouldn't the BigTen be interested in Missouri?  as is stated several times in the referenced article.
