[Husker] Mizzou looking to bail...

On Unsportsmanlike Conduct recently, a national analyst (Charles Davis?)
made what I thought was a good point about Mizzou. If they move to the SEC,
all of a sudden they a) are directly competing for recruits, especially
in-state, with the likes of Alabama, Arkansas, LSU, etc. Who's to say a
great player out of St. Louis will go play at Mizzou if he's got an offer
from Auburn? Also, b) they'll lose some access to the state of Texas since
they won't be playing conference games there anymore (aside from A&M once
every two years). Some of the key players in their recent success came out
of Texas, such as Chase Daniel.
The money is likely better, but I think they'll kiss any chance of competing
for football titles goodbye. Basketball, on the other hand, would get a nice
boost, too bad nobody cares.
