Oddly I agree with most of your thoughts. I say oddly because at first
glance it might seem counter intuitive to see positive signs in a sound
defeat.
I was quite surprised at the offense's early success and fire. Tim Beck had
things clicking early on and in the long run I think he will be fine.
The disappointment that will probably linger with me is the very poor
defensive performance. I never envisioned a Pelini defense getting
consistently riddled and look overwrought. The good news is that Ohio State
has offensive issues and so this week shouldn't be another welcome to the
Big 10 spanking.
