[Husker] The Good News

There is no future of the program. At least not for these coaches if things keep going this direction. --- There, totally negative bashing coaches out of the way.
Now, my hope for the future side says:
Defense was beaten badly -- many young players especially DB's. Lots of holding by Wisconsin that was not called (on both sides of the ball).
Offense --- ugh! UGLY. TM is a sophomore. Just a sophomore. Still plenty of time to learn and improve. Beck is in his first year as an OC. Also still time for him to improve and learn -- although I give him a tighter leash than TM.
There's no excuse for coming out to start the 2nd half with a pass after we were burned with 2 interceptions to end the first half. I guess they were playing the odds - Wisconsin probably figured no way we would pass again especially on 1st down. Then we went and shot ourselves in the foot!
2.5 quarters of total embarassment - 1.5 quarters of hope. We just sucked on all sides of the ball. We just were totally awful tonight.

What I don't understand is why after the game was out of hand we didn't see Brion or another backup QB. I'm not going to second guess the coaches with who they think should be starting. They see practices, etc and have much more information and knowledge about that decision. However, with such little depth at the position, I would think getting some game experience for the backups would be a good thing for the future of the program.
