Every time I watch a non-NU game and see some place-kicker's stat like "4 for 7 beyond 40 yards", I marvel at how good the NU kickers have been over the years.  I recall T.O. saying (over and over) that kicking is one-third of the game, but perhaps he's one of the few who actually believed that and did something about it.  But it also makes Maher's dropped snap against MU even more surprizing. 



Having said all that, is it my imagination (meaning, I havn't actually checked any stats) but are there fewer NU kickoffs out of the end zone this year than in previous years?
