The loser of the Big Ten championship to will probably play either Georgia or South Carolina. Wisconsin is a 9.5 favorite to win against Michigan State.

Thanks, John, for posting about the upcoming bowl season. After
looking at over a dozen predictions by national sites in the last
couple of days (and not Husker sites), the consensus appears to be the
Capital One or the Outback, against either Arkansas or Georgia (with
South Carolina sort of a distant third choice). Ticket City seems to
be solidly in the hands of Purdue since the tie in is with the B1G #7.
A fourth choice may be the Gator Bowl, but none of the sites have the
Huskers going there (Ohio State). Everyone assumes Michigan gets a
BCS bowl, and Wisconsin beats Michigan State and goes to the Rose
Bowl. I guess what happens on Saturday could cause a shuffle in
everyone's predictions, but I don't see the Huskers getting too far
away from those two bowls. Neither the Capital One or Outback have to
follow the selection order, so either can select a lower rated B1G
team if they think they can get a better turnout. Guess who that's
going to be. And no, it ain't Michigan State, and its probably not
Michigan.
I really don't care which bowl as much as which team we might play. I
think I'd rather play Arkansas, only because Georgia has been on a
tear in the second half of the season (though the first portion of the
season was miserable). Georgia is a hot team right now. Both will
have been badly beaten by LSU by that time (anyone give Georgia a shot
this weekend?).
Anyone heard that Husker fans who bought early B1G Championship game
tickets are having a hard time selling them? Appears to be little
demand from either Wisconsin or Michigan State fans. Interesting.
