He is now, but he wasn't when he was hired....and Louisville OC is still 
a step down from NU OC.

I have heard that FAU has been primarily looking at offensive coaches; 
that doesn't exclude the possibility that Carl Pelini is a 
candidate...just that the conventional wisdom is that FAU is looking for 
someone to get away from their pro-style attack. FAU hasn't found 
anybody to replace Rusty Smith the last couple of years.

People gave me a lot of crap last year when I said that Watson and 
Gilmore had been let go, but was allowed to look for somewhere to land 
before (instead of) anything being announced.

Gilmore got a pretty nice gig, but Watson going to Louisville to be a QB 
coach?   LOL.
