[Husker] Suh suspended for 2 games

Being a lifelong suffering Lions fan, I have the opportunity to watch Suh
play each week. He has done some pretty violent things. A couple of weeks
ago in the Bears game he got so frustrated because he couldn't get to Cutler
that on a play where Cutler ran the ball, he came in from the behind as
Cutler was being tackled by another Lion, grabbed Cutlers helmet, tore it
off his head and sent it flying about 5 yards. How he didn't get a penalty
is beyond me. He's not getting the sacks this year like he is used to or
tackles either so he is frustrated. The OL's know how to play him. He's
predominately a bull rusher and the OL grabs his jersey at the chest and
hang on like they had vice grips for hands. The NFL doesn't call holding
when it involves the interior DT's any more for some reason. So he's
frustrated from being held and double teamed, which makes him less
effective, and he takes it out on whoever he is tackling. The Lions coach
is not happy with his play or antics and if he doesn't learn how to tone
down his violence he will be a backup DT. The Lions have a wealth of very
good DT's on their team.
He's not stupid. He has a BSME degree in Construction Management.
Mechanical Engineering is one of the most challenging fields of study and
you have to be really smart to get that degree. Oh by the way, did I
mention I have a BSME from NU in 1970?.... (Just a little humor folks)

He did that pick up and slam thing 3 or 4 times in college, got flagged for
it twice I think. You're right, most famously with McCoy. In all of those
college instances, Suh had the QB wrapped up and all he had to do was
tackle him. But he didn't, he chose to pick him up and slam him to the
ground. But the clips I've seen of him in the pros go beyond that. I
have seen enough interviews with him to form an opinion and I am sure
(that's right...."sure") that Suh is neither stupid nor inherently mean. I
don't know what is going on with him.
