The defense has a few holes to fill, but that's Bo's strong suit.
The offense should be better than this year, since both Burkhead and
Martinez return and they won't be learning a new offensive scheme.

The non-conference schedule looks about as soft as last year,
UCLA will be breaking in a new coach, it seems, as the announcement
about Neuheisel's departure is at 5:30 PM ET today.

Wisconsin and Michigan State will both be breaking in new QBs next year,
and neither one of them have given their backups much game time.
I don't see another transfer like Russell Wilson looming on the horizon.

So will Northwestern, but Nebraska's already seen both of the likely
replacements for Persa. I expect Colter to share time with Siemian
like he did with Persa, and Siemian is a better pure passer than Persa.
The Cats top two receivers will both need to be replaced, though.

Minnesota will be improved, but not that much. Iowa, who knows,
Ferentz could be on the hot seat next season, or they could contend
for the division title.

Penn State will probably still be in turmoil, Ohio State should
be Urbanized by the time the Huskers have to visit the Horseshoe.
Michigan has to come to Lincoln.

Right now a 5-3 or 6-2 conference record both seem quite possible to me.
