And what do you base that on?  I believe Northwestern, Wisconsin, and Michigan State will suffer greater losses due to graduation, and Michigan/Penn State will be in Lincoln.  Granted, there is a stiff test to open the season with Southern Miss, but still, that's extremely pessimistic.

And no, I don't consider 6-6 to be a worst-case scenario.  Not in the B1G.  With Minnesota starting to improve, there are no gimmes on the schedule; yes 0-8 in conference is not completely out of the question. (Though it's EXTREMELY unlikely.)  But I don't think 8-4 is the best case in 2012 either.
