I heard enough of Billy C in his press conferences to form an opinion of him.

Let's also not forget that every one of Bo Pelini's teams have been better than any Bill Callahan team.  Bo Pelini may not have brought Nebraska "back" to where Nebraska fans want the program to be, but he's an upgrade over his predecessor.


Do I want Pelini to do a better job?  Absolutely.  Can he do a better job?  I think so. But I'm not throwing him under the bus because Nebraska "only" went 9-3 in 2010.

How many of those 90% know BC and can make a judgment on his "likeability"?  Making a statement that a person is not likeable because he is a poor coach is ridiculous.  It's time for you BC haters to forgive, forget, and move on.  BC is not the reason we are a 2nd tier team today.  His players are gone, quite a few playing pro football.  This is BO's team.  The buck stops there.   And it's not because we don't have the right mix of players to compete for a championship in the BIG.  We lost games because we didn't execute on offense or defense (poor tackling, dropped balls, interceptions, blown coverages, penalties, etc.)

I'm pretty sure that if you asked a random sampling of Nebraska fans, about 90% of them would tell you they didn't like Callaclown.  Attending every home game in 2007 was enough to tell me that he wasn't liked by the vast majority of the fanbase.

If your good friend only saw weaknesses in nebraskas program after the norhtwestern game this year then he must have been living under a rock for the last decade.  I can think of about 10 losses just as embarassing and most of them were under callahan.
