Unless there are specific examples of Nebraska losing recruits because of Bo Pelini's actions/attitude, is this really an issue. Again, we were 'spoiled' by having not only an innovative and winning head coach in Tom Osborne, but one that was had outstanding character.

I do not believe that 9 wins is anything to shirk at. And Nebraska is still looking at a 10 win season. So, the jury is still out on this.

There are a lot of programs that would like to have the consistency that Nebraska has had over the past four years. Nebraska has had a winning record overall and winning conference records.

Who cares if Bo Pelini does not want to talk with the press? When you have a person that is passionate about what he does, you do not always want to rehash events right away. Unfortunately, in this 24/7 news cycle everyone wants answers right now.

Schmoozing boosters is important, but I would rather have a coach that coaches than one that schmoozes. My older brother is a football coach at Nebraska-Wesleyan and his comment about Bill Callahan is that he was schmoozer. There is hardly anyone on this list that wants Bill Callahan back as head coach.

So, what do we as Nebraska fans really want? So there were two games that were 'embarrassing'. Do you think that the coaches, players, and other staff members were not also embarrassed? I my opinion the loss to Northwestern was worse than either losses Wisconsin or Michigan. But I am not strapping on any pads, or creating any game plans. I am a fan and I will support the program. Leave the staffing decisions to the AD, who everyone on this list (and in the state of Nebraska) believes does not make rash or poor decisions.

Why is that when Frank Solich was fired after a 9-3 season nearly everyone on this list was up in arms. Now after a 9-3 season there a fans that believe Bo Pelini needs to go? What is different between the two?

What ever happened to "We'll all stand together in all kinds of weather."?

Again, we need to have patience in the process. If Nebraska plays Arkansas and wins, then what? Nebraska will have beaten a SEC team in SEC country.

Is anything less than an undefeated season is what is required to for people to believe in Bo Pelini?

Last year, I traveled to San Diego to support the team because I knew they had a hill to climb going back to the Holiday Bowl and playing Washington for the second time in a season in an essentially meaningless game. While I was disappointed that Nebraska did not win, I never stopped being a fan.

And as I have posted before, growing up in Omaha in the 60's,70's, and 80's; I heard all this same stuff about Tom Osborne. And we all know how that turned out in the end.

Go B1G Red!
