bit in fact. Not everyone is on board with the "I don't care how Bo acts
as long as he wins games". Pelini is a singularly unlikeable individual
and a poor head coach. He wants to be a head coach but only act like a
coordinator. Managing the press, the fans, the boosters, etc. is beyond
him. Now while lots of folks may have Jon's attitude that "I don't give a
damn!" how he acts, it is probably going to hurt us in the long run if it
turns out his behavior costs us players. You don't think Pelini has a
reputation that high schools kids know about? Of course he does, they know
everything. And I am pretty certain that the opposition in direct
recruiting battles will be sure to use that. All those videos on Youtube
of Crazy Bo are being shown to players....and their parents. And parents
have quite a bit of say about where their kids go to college. In the next
few years, Pelini will be playing with his own recruits. We'll see.
Because if you don't have players, what you do have doesn't matter.
