Aside from the fact that Soldier Field is by far the worst NFL stadium
in nearly every respect, both on and off the playing field, there are 
very few positives from Northwestern's point of view to move the game 
away from their home stadium.  (It is far from clear that it would be
a revenue-positive move given what it would cost to use the facility.)

Last year's Northwestern - Illinois game was moved to Wrigley Field in 
what was a PR gimmick that didn't work out very well given the fact 
that a football field no longer fits safely in that venue.  I doubt
it will be repeated.

How do you suppose Nebraska volleyball fans would react to suggestions
that they move next year's match against either Penn State or Illinois 
to the Century West (formerly Qwest) Center in Omaha instead of playing
in the Coliseum, or basketball fans to moving some Husker home 
basketball games to Allen Fieldhouse in Lawrence?
