I guess we'll see who is more talented when they face off, but it doesn't
appear that Creighton has really played better teams. Using the average
ranking by Sagarin and Massey:
NU - #130 Rhode Island
CU - #131 @UAB
CU - #132 vIowa
NU - #150 @USC
NU - #302 S Dakota
CU - #357 NC A&T
CU - #801 Chicago St
Those schedules look pretty comparable. Neither team has what you'd call
a huge win.
These are the opponents prior to the NU-CU game:
CU - #43 @San Diego St
NU - #95 Oregon
NU - #149 Wake Forest
NU - #155 S Dakota St
CU - #187 Campbell
Massey has San Diego St at home by 4 and Sagarin has that game even.
Massey has NU over Oregon by 9 and Sagarin has NU by 11.
Both teams look pretty good, so hopefully, both NU and CU will be undefeated
when they meet. If Creighton wins @San Diego St, it could push the line
a little, but right now Sagarin has CU by 3.09 and Sagarin has CU 68-63.
