[Husker] B1G to this point and the Nebraska Defense This Season

Me Too! LOL

I agree on the defense. The offense, and more importantly special teams,
put them in a very bad situation. When fresh they had trouble with MU;
however, tired it was really bad. They made some good stops.

We handed them at least 21 points on a silver platter with turnovers and
blocked punts. When I did the math, we lost by 28. We amazingly were in a
point to make a game of it early in the 4th after a complete melt down in
the 3rd quarter. I found that amazing. This was not a good game for the Big
Red. However, special teams has not seemed to be a major problem all year.
(I actually have used them with success in my ESPN fantasy team). We do
have some young return men who have had some problems holding onto the
ball, but not like yesterday. (By the way, this is not a ding on
them...they are young and will improve).

My take was that when things went bad, it snowballed. That is often a sign
of a young team, and I would consider this team young. It is hard when
things are going bad not to change your game (start thinking "don't
fumble"). When that happens, bad things follow.

I feel we will get things back on track and beat Iowa. I felt we would have
4 losses this year looking at the schedule. We are ahead of my
expectations.
