[Husker] B1G to this point

Living in B1G territory for the past ten years, this season hasn't
surprised me at all. The conference is usually like this - there may appear
to be a dominant team (e.g., Wisconsin), but that team usually stumbles
down the stretch. This tells me that the conference is well-balanced, with
less of a weak-sister component than we had in the Big XII-IV+II.
I think the competitive parity of the B1G augurs well for the national
championship prospects for an undefeated B1G champion, especially with the
addition of the conference championship game. Any B1G team that runs that
gauntlet without a loss has serious credibility in the national
conversation.

A wise and frugal government, which shall restrain men from injuring
one another, which shall leave them otherwise free to regulate their
own pursuits of industry and improvement, and shall not take from the
mouth of labor the bread it has earned. This is the sum of
good government... - Thomas Jefferson, First Inaugural Address
