[Husker] B1G to this point

Just wondering how everyone on the list feels about being in the B1G up to this point in the season.

Personally, I'm enjoying the heck out of it, even with the 3 losses. I'm very impressed with the way the opponents and their coaches handle themselves before, during, and after games. I'm not seeing a lot of the "smack talk" of the Big XII, and that is a breath of fresh air.

I also find it refreshing to see that, going into this past weekend, the league was pretty much up for grabs. In the Legends Division, Nebraska, Michigan, and Michigan St and in the Leaders Division, Ohio State, Wisconsin, and Penn State all had legitimate shots at playing in the conference championship. Even now, going into the last weekend, any of Michigan, Michigan St, Wisconsin, and Penn State could win the title.

The Big XII felt like Texas or OU were always going to win the title. In fact, out of 15 years of the Big XII, OU was in the title game 8 times, Texas 5, and aTm 2. The north was a little more balanced with Huskers making 6 appearances, Colorado 4, K-St 3 and Missouri 2. That said, the South won 11 of the 15 titles.

The B1G feels more balanced...at least in the first year. I'm hoping it's similar (with better results for the Huskers, of course) every year. I really do think this is a fun league.

Thoughts?
