First, a response to Gary, and his point of this thread. The poster
clearly was upset with you, and probably upset in the way we lost on
Saturday, but he's got no business taking it out on anyone on this
list, much less sending you personal emails like that. No one does.
So, I would hope he would apologize, but I doubt he will.

And to Mike, really? What was our record a year ago? Is Okie Lite
even better this year? Is KState better than last year? I'm not sure
I'd put either of those in a toss-up category. I watched KState
embarrass Tejas yesterday. That Klein just seems to have a way of
getting things done. Its not pretty, but effective. And do you
really think we'd overcome the Tejas curse? in Austin?

I agree that we may have underestimated the difficulty of preparing
for teams we haven't seen regularly. But I still don't see this team
dealing any better with what we knew. Okie State is pretty hard on a
team missing a future all pro corner and new faces in the backfield.
KState is a different team this year. Tejas is just Tejas - they've
got our number (remember they had like only 5 wins last year and we
were one of them). Even Iowa State manages to pull one out every year
- this year it was Okie State, but it could just as well have been us.
